CYCLING:

SLAVKO'S HOME:

It takes an hour walk to get to Slavko's home. At the top you will find the restaurant Belšak, which is situated in the premises of Slavko's home since the year 1997. It is 11 km away from Ljubljana and 4 km away from Medvode. It is hidden in natural environment at 400 meters of altitude. The restaurant is a family company and offers home made and seasonal food.

KATARINA:

Is 738 m of altitude and three-hour walk. The road is interesting and open in all time of year, however in winter it might be more difficult to get there. This is a typical landscape of Polhograjski Dolomites. Due to its length, the path belongs to medium difficulty, so you should be in good condition before taking it.

HORSE RIDING:
Riding is and unforgettable experience that everybody should try at least once.

FISHING:
West part of Ljubljana filed next to the main Carniola road opens towards the confluence of Sava and Sora rivers on the south-east edge of Sora field. The view stretches towards the settlement of Medvode with hills and Alps in the back. Medvode got their name (“between waters”) because of its position at the confluence of two rivers. The settlements in the surroundings are popular excursion points.

Church on St. Jacob: On Zbilje Lake it is possible to paddle, go fishing or simply enjoy the beautiful view. It is wonderful and relaxing every time of year. Fishing amateurs can fish in the Lake of Zbilje or in the rivers of Sora and Sava.

GOLF:
Near us there is the eighteen-hole golf course Diners Ljubljana, in excellent condition, friendly and accessible to everyone. EXCURSIONS:
The hikers are climbing up to the tops of Polhograjski Dolomites, such as Osolnik, Govejek, Polhograjska grmada, Tošč and Jeterbenk. Also Šmarna gora and Stari grad (Old Castle) in Smlednik are interesting excursion points.

PICNICS:
You can have a picnic on the grass in front of the hotel with your family or friends and a basket of delights.

SKIING:
Krvavec: Recreation and tourist center Krvavec is situated in the municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem and is only 25 kilometers away from Ljubljana. It offers 30 km of ski pistes in excellent state on the altitude from 1450 m to 1971 m. This altitude provides wonderful conditions for skiing on natural snow. Due to favorable position, the ski season normally starts already at the end of November and lasts until the first days of May. The pistes are suitable for recreational as well as for professional skiers. There is a wide selection of additional services, such as skiing school, rental and service of ski equipment, piste with electronic measurement of time, polygon of safe skiing, polygon for beginners with play installations, children conveyor and merry-go-round, all of this to make the visitors happy. Stari vrh pri Škofja Loki: During winter season the devices operate from 9.00 to 16.00. Night skiing operates from 19.00 to 22.00. Fans of sledding can go on night sledding from 19.00 to 22.00. It is also possible to rent skiing and sledding equipment. They have an open skating rink in the size of 300 square meters in the snow park in Grebljica. It is open every day and offers the possibility of evening skating.
