HOTEL MEDNO is located in natural green surroundings sheltered by a forest and near the river Sava at Medno, which is considered as the suburbs of Ljubljana. It is approximately 9km towards north from the centre of Slovenia's capital. Directly running by Hotel Medno is the regional road that leads to Kranj and from there on to Austria and Italy. It is only 15kms from the international airport Jože Pučnik. Despite the immediate vicinity of urban centres, Hotel Medno offers a splendid view over the rolling hills and high mountain crests of the Julian Alps and Karavanken Mountains.

Current capacity for over-night accommodation of Hotel Medno is 93 beds. We offer accommodation in different types and categories of rooms. We built new business suites in 2007, furnished according to the 4* standards. For you pleasure we organize wedding banquets, anniversary celebrations and other events, for the business men and women we offer for rent our multimedia multipurpose seminar hall. After a long day, you are welcome to relax in one of the whirlpools, which are also a novelty in our hotel or treat yourself to a lovely massage by the skilful hands of our Thai masseuses. Hotel Medno is a great starting point for easier and more challenging hiking tours. There are organized cross-country skiing tracks surrounding the hotel in winter, whereas in summer you can enjoy hiking as well as biking, mountain biking, and cycling.
